BIOGRAPHY

Taylor McCabe-Juhnke serves as the Executive Director of Rural Schools Collaborative, a national nonprofit network strengthening rural education through place, teachers, and philanthropy. Taylor was an early supporter of Rural Schools Collaborative, joining as a Strategic Planning Fellow in 2016 to support a stakeholders dialogue on rural teacher recruitment and preparation.

With more than a decade of experience, Taylor brings varied perspectives from both corporate and nonprofit contexts, as well as urban and rural. Prior to her work with Rural Schools Collaborative, Taylor served in nonprofits roles with the Seattle-based United Way of King County, and the Wisconsin-based Madison Audubon Society. She also has expertise in healthcare project management with former roles at Seattle Children's Hospital and Epic Systems, leading multi-million dollar initiatives.

As a North Newton, Kansas native, Taylor is a proud product of small town public education and rural-serving higher ed. She hails from a long line of rural educators on both sides of her family. When she is not at home with a cup of coffee and a cat on her lap, you can find Taylor on nature tromps or happily losing at game nights.
