BIOGRAPHY
Tiffany Taylor is a passionate, results-driven leader with more than 20 years of experience across the education, nonprofit, for-profit, and public sectors. She currently serves as president of the ASU+GSV Summit, powered by Hyve & BETT, one of the world’s most influential convenings at the intersection of education, workforce, and innovation—bringing together global leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors.
Prior to joining GSV, Tiffany served as executive director of Teach For America–Detroit, where she set a bold vision for regional impact, expanded local and national fundraising, and led a sophisticated, sustainable operation grounded in educational equity. She later joined Teach For America’s national organization as deputy chief people officer, shaping talent strategies across regions nationwide. Tiffany then served as partner and chief people & impact officer at GSV Ventures, a multi-stage venture capital firm focused on the $7+ trillion global education and workforce skills sector.
Deeply committed to civic leadership and community impact, Tiffany serves on the boards of KIPP Michigan, BMEA, Reading Partners, Michigan Virtual Learning, Black Family Development Training Institute, and the AI Education Project. She is also a board member of Tutored by Teachers, a board advisor to the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University, and a gubernatorial appointee to the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority Board of Commissioners.
In recognition of her contributions, Tiffany has received numerous honors, including the Walker’s Legacy Foundation’s national Women in Economic Development and Civic Leadership Award, recognition in Microsoft’s 2022 Legacy Project, and the BMEA Education Pioneer Award.
A native Detroiter and graduate of Detroit Public Schools, Tiffany holds a BA from the University of Michigan, an MS in Education from St. Joseph’s University, a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Maryland, and completed the Leading Change and Organizational Renewal program at Harvard Business School.
