PREPARING FOR YOUR
PAHARA SEMINAR

For cohorts launching in 2026, we will continue to offer travel reimbursement to Fellows who are unable to secure travel reimbursement from their organization or for Fellows whose out-of-pocket travel expenses would be prohibitive to attendance at Fellowship Seminars. In these instances a maximum travel reimbursement of $700 will be available. Please note the following conditions and restrictions:

 

• Pahara will reimburse the following travel expenses: 

  • Basic and main economy roundtrip flights applicable for programming;

  • Checked luggage;

  • Roundtrip taxis, rideshare services, buses, shuttles, metros, or other public transit services between point of origin (aka your home) and the airport;

  • Airport parking (non-valet) for the length of programming; or

  • Mileage driven - to be reimbursed at the federal rate.

 

• Pahara WILL NOT reimburse the following travel expenses:

  • Cabin or seat upgrade (ex. Priority seating, economy plus, premium economy, business, or first class);

  • In-flight extras (ex. WiFi);

  • Alcoholic beverages while traveling (ex. Planes, airports, off-site meals);

  • Travel day meals;

  • Travel Insurance; or

  • Hotel stays bookending events.

• Directions for submitting travel reimbursement will be shared with Fellows upon the completion of each seminar. 

• Unless otherwise stated by Pahara staff, you can expect to receive funds between approximately 14-21 business days starting the week after receipt of your materials.

• Fellows will not be able to submit for reimbursement before events.
